Can we get an apology?

That was the day i was s excited about back in the beginning of the summer! I would have the 3-bet stat i was always dreaming of to go with a smoother running version of pokertracker 2. This program I speak of would be the disaster that was PokerTracker 3. It is now September 30th and there’s a working version of the commerical PokerTracker 3. Roughly 135 days after i thought i was getting my awesome product, it actually showed up.
I’ve been quite patient i think and not too upset about the whole thing. Still, I haven’t received a discount, or even an apology via e-mail. I think those of us that signed up and paid for the product in the pre-release are all owed a personal apology. I don’t really care about the money because as always, the software will pay for itself. I just think the principle of the thing is absurd.
I am happy with how they solved the problem. The database and HUD run smooth, but honestly how did it take that long? I know their website says they are sorry. All the forums are ‘its our bad’. But this just isn’t acceptable for a software release. They are going to pay for it in the people that switched to HEM and got fed up. I just think all the people who stayed loyal to PT3 deserve some love from the PT3 crew.
Now that its functional, maybe they will start added some new features.
Here’s my wishlist at the moment:
- An Allin Luck Graph – this is always key
- Optimal Stats for player – this would use the allin luck graph to find at what vpip/pfr/af the player is up the most with at each different stake/game. Using each session and its numbers as bearing.
- PokerTracker Omaha – i mean come on.
- 3-bet from LP % – would be very useful for finding players abusing their position
- 3-bet from blinds % – would be awesome for figuring out which players are most prone to 3-bet re-steal against a LP raise
- Average 3-bet size – would be helpful for finding any discrepencies
- Average 4-bet size – would be much more helpful than 3-bet size as 4-bet sizes tend to not be standardized by alot of regs are usually based on strength of hand.
that’s all i can think of now. Come on PT3… lets get the train moving.
