Whoa, did i just go to 200nl full time?
Well, I just realized that i haven’t played 400nl in about a month. Pretty wild. I basically have no good reason not to play there, other than i seem to have more fun at 200nl playing the style i play. I have been running pretty well in august. I am at 5.66ptbb/100 over 20k hands at 200nl. I have played 21k hands this month too! I think i’m going to close out this month at 200nl and finish getting this new style of 16/13 down and then give it a go at 400nl.
I’ve been really devoted to poker which is odd considering i’m also devoted to the gym this month (i’m on schedule to go 15 times this month and its getting routine and i enjoy it). I seem to have cut mindless week drinking out of my routine. That all kinda leads to the blog taking a back seat to that all. I will try to get into the habit of updating the site every night again with updates from my sessions. Today, I played 2 nightmare sessions and gave a coaching session. I managed to still win $100 tonight, but good god, i ran into some ugly spots.
I am meeting with a Real Estate agent tomorrow after work, which should be awesome. She’s 24 and one of my friends knows her pretty well and has nothing but good things to say about her. I am however kinda worried i might get intimidated if she’s attractive. Not that i get scared around good looking girls, but i do tend to agree with what they say more than say, a 45 year old man. I think i can definitely put that aside and tell her what i really want. I don’t think there’s any way i could get talked into buying something that’s 300k, that i didn’t really want. I was thinking about getting a house at first and now i think i’m going to go the condo route. Get a really nice condo in uptown Charlotte or something. I can afford all sorts of awesomeness but I’m actually curious what i can get approved for loan-wise but i think that’s just a phone call away. I think ideally i’ll get a 300k place with a roommate to help pay the mortgage. I’ll keep you guys posted on how the real estate agent is and how that situation progresses.
It is the time of the year for football. I can already feel it, and I’m so pumped. In two weekends, the VT vs. ECU game is in Charlotte! This is the first time anything like this has happened here, and its VT! its gonna be huge. I have so many friends coming down for the game from tech it should just be a complete shit show. I was so excited i joined 5 fantasy football leagues! Hah. I do love fantasy football though, its definitely one of my dorkier callings but its fun and i feel like i have an edge so what’s the harm there?
I also went to DC this past weekend. It was alot of fun. It was a pretty non-traditional trip for me. I usually travel places to get shit faced with friends. This was travelling to stay sober with a girl. It was a blast though and we did all sorts of sober shit, like a movie, the DC monuments and a hibachi grill.

Anyways, that was my fun filled weekend. This weekend it looks like i’ve got one of my best friends visiting and then the following weekend is VT. vs ECU and the season opener!
